Get And Keep Your Engine Tuned
An improperly tuned engine hurts gas mileage by an average of 4.1 percent, according to U.S. government studies. Most important to mileage is a properly working oxygen sensor, which can increase or decrease your efficiency by as much as 40 percent. If you’re procrastinating about having your oxygen sensor fixed, just imagine the money you’ll [...]

Found An Investigation of Water4Gas
Is it a scam? I tell you it is not but there’s still a lot of skepticism. I have found a knol (googles version of wikipedia) that shows it is in fact proven to be legitimate. Check it out: http://knol.google.com/k/anonymous/water4gas-a-scam-my-investigation/1pfcd1qzcsqno/2#

Use Nitrogen In Your Tires If Possible
This one is for those of you too lazy to constantly check your tire’s pressure. In a perfect new (and expensive) tire you will lose about 1 PSI every month from air seepage. Nitrogen takes 52 months to lose 1 PSI as it is a heavier substance. And no, it is NOT explosive! This also [...]

Don’t Squeeze The Handle All The Way!
When pumping your gas be sure not to squeeze the handle all the way down. This minimized vapors created while you’re pumping. Here’s how it works; If you pump your gas on a slow setting vapors will not be created and released, so really you’re not paying for vapors that you’re never even getting into [...]

Know When To Use AC And When To Roll Down Your Windows
When you’re not on the highway, and your car is running at lower speeds, one of the often neglected gas savers is to turn off the A/C . The A/C increases the fuel consumption thus decreasing the fuel economy. Open the window of your car to cool down instead of using the A/C. However, when [...]

Interview With An HHO Conversion Owner
As many of you know I’ve been stongly advocating for this new technology known as HHO for both greatly increased fuel economy (up to 65%) and cleaner emissions. After installing this almost two months ago I’m a fan and trying to convert all that I can. I found an interview here with a man that [...]

HHO Technology Has Gone Mainstream
As you know I’m an avid supporter of HHO technology (coined Water4Gas by many). I found a news clip floating around on YouTube of how it is now becoming mainstream, and not only for automotive power! Check it out below, also you can read my review as I have purchased and installed this product for [...]

Watch Out For Fuel Evaporation
Fuel evaporation is not such a huge problem on newer cars, but if you’re driving a pre-1998 or so you may want to take some relatively simple steps to help curb this possible waste of your car’s precious life blood (also known as gasoline). The two biggest steps you can take are incredibly easy and [...]

Observe The Speed Limit
While each vehicle reaches its optimal fuel economy at a different speed (or range of speeds), gas mileage usually decreases rapidly at speeds above 60 mph.
You can assume that each 5 mph you drive over 60 mph is like paying an additional $0.30 per gallon for gas.
Observing the speed limit is also safer.
Fuel Economy Benefit:
7-23%
Equivalent [...]

Fill Up Tank Whenever You Can
This is becoming even more important in today’s gasoline market with ever rising prices. There are two key reasons to fill up your gas tank whenever possible. The first is obvious in recent times, gas prices go up nearly every day and will probably never get significantly cheaper again. If you wait a week to [...]
