Fill Up Tank Whenever You Can
This is becoming even more important in today’s gasoline market with ever rising prices. There are two key reasons to fill up your gas tank whenever possible. The first is obvious in recent times, gas prices go up nearly every day and will probably never get significantly cheaper again. If you wait a week to fill up that could be as much as $.10 a gallon more. The second reason is a little less obvious, but important. When your tank is empty there’s a big gap of air inside your vehicle. This allows for the fumes and vapors to rise and dissipate. Therefore you’re gas will actually evaporate and never be used. The biggest waste of gas is simply having it dissipate without being used.
