Hypermiling: Still Popular
Many people speculated that hypermiling would have all but died with gas prices the way that are today. This is not the case. People see how much more fuel efficient they can really be by using simple hypermiling tips. It is possible that the $4.00 a gallon gas prices which spiked the drastic increase in the number of US hypermilers was actually a good thing. There are so many people driving with fuel efficiency in mind.
In fact, I see people employing hypermiling techniques regularly, I even see some with decals on the back of their cars. It seems to be a regular thing if you know what to look for.
So what are you waiting for? Maybe you read this blog but haven’t tried the techniques. Maybe you try some of them but haven’t read my whole ebook. Maybe you just don’t think like a hypermiler often enough. Whatever the case, get on it. Even if gas is only $1.50 a gallon, wouldn’t you rather get 40 MPG than 15 MPG?
