Know When To Use AC And When To Roll Down Your Windows
When you’re not on the highway, and your car is running at lower speeds, one of the often neglected gas savers is to turn off the A/C . The A/C increases the fuel consumption thus decreasing the fuel economy. Open the window of your car to cool down instead of using the A/C. However, when you’re going at high speeds, the optimal tip for your car would be to use the A/C instead of opening your window. Opening your windows at high speed increases the drag, which decreases the fuel economy.
