The Best Way To Save Fuel Is To Drive Less

This may seem like common sense, but are you really driving more than you need to? Lets think about your possible options here:
Live Closer To Work
This isn’t always practical, but if you’re commuting 50 or 60 miles a day, that adds up. Think about finding a closer job, or a place to live closer to your current job. Nobody wants to work just to pay for gas to get to work do they?
Bicycle
Maybe you already live pretty close to work, so why even drive at all? A mile on a bicycle will only take you a couple minutes and not only will you save on gas (as well as keep your car’s mileage down) but you’ll also burn off some of that chocolate cheesecake from last night.
Carpool Or Ride The Bus
Public transportation is cheap, for $30 you can get a month’s pass in most communities and ride all you like. Compare this to 7 gallon of gas (you wont even get that!) which will get you to work a couple of times. Plus you never know what little hottie you may meet on your route. Don’t really dig public transportation? I don’t blame you, carpool to work with someone that lives close by; this will save you both some cash on gas.
Pick Your Route And Timing
Maybe there’s some back roads that will get you there with less mileage if you insist on driving, check into it. Also you might want to leave earlier. Avoiding rush hour traffic means less idling and less stop and go traffic, both of which lead to a waste of gasoline.
These are just a few of the simplest and yet largest things you can do to save some gasoline and thus some cash. Think about it, its worth it. Of course my personal favorite is my new device to run my car on water, which I reviewed for you all. With this bad boy I save money driving more than ever before.
