Did you know that credit card companies charge money ( a flat fee + a percentage) to stores for processing? Because of this gas stations which accept credit cards tend to have an 8-15 cent higher gas price!
Look for gas stations which only take debit and cash, you’ll save. For the most part these are little mom and pops stations but there is one big player in this game, that is ARCO. The quality of gas here is no worse, that is not where the price difference comes from. It has simply to do with the fact that they don’t have to shell out that 7% credit card fee so they can sell their gas for cheaper.
